COURSE OUTLINE FOR CRYSTAL STONE FACIAL WORKSHOP
Pre-requisites: Basic skin science. Ability to perform face massage techniques.
Course Description:
- This course will cover theory related to thermotherapy and cryotherapy applications to the skin of the face and the benefits to the client.
- A complete crystal massage facial treatment is taught using heated and chilled crystal stones combined with lymph drainage, acupressure and European facial techniques.
- Chakra balancing techniques using crystals to rebalance the chakras.
Student Learning Outcome:
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to use heated and chilled stones on the face.
- Demonstrate how to give a full facial treatment with heated and chilled stones.
- Describe how thermotherapy and cryotherapy work on the skin of the face.
- Prepare heated and chilled crystal for a full facial treatment.
- An understanding of what skin conditions will disallow this treatment for some clients.
- Demonstrate how to give a chakra balance with crystals.
General Course Objective:
To ensure the therapist is competent and confident to perform a crystal massage facial treatment with heated and chilled crystal stones.
